I am pleased to welcome the Hamilton Beach Digital 2 Slice Toaster to my kitchen. After a devastating morning involving a broken toaster, several attempts at broiling bread in the oven to create toast, the results were a lot of smoke and frustration.
Drawn to the finish of this stainless steel beauty, it’s the perfect compliment to our other stainless appliances. It is sleek, modern, and I love the pretty, glowing, blue display.
Though it may seem simple and straight forward, I recently learned two new and interesting things about my little friend the bobby pin. One, my British friends call it a kirby grip (for some reason I find this hilarious), and two, I have been using it incorrectly my entire life!! As a frequent user of this handy little pin, I am disturbed to realize that I haven’t been taking full advantage of it’s hair holding ability. So, if you’re like me and pin your bangs back with the jagged side facing out, flip that sucker around, flat side to the world, and see how much better bobby stays in place. Life altering, I know.
Heading out into a sun-shiny spring day, I am thoroughly pleased that distressed denim is back in my life. New at Marble, these destroyed skinny crops are my new obsession. I’m pairing them with boots while it is still a bit chilly here, but soon will transition to pairing them with sandals. Slipping them on makes me want to run barefoot down the beach, hurry up summer!!
After a week of consuming massive amounts of chocolate, I’m actually not sure how to return to normal life! No meal feel complete without a tasty chocolate treat at the end. With a fitting for a bridesmaid dress fast approaching, I’m going to have to get my cravings under control! Cold turkey may be the best option…let’s call this DAY 1.
I really do heart this blog! Unfortunatley for i heart, a hectic couple weeks at Marble meant a little neglect for my blog. The cause of all the craziness Marble’s Spring Photo-Shoot! Our largest shoot thus far, it was lot to organize. However, the day of the shoot was beyond fun and the results are fantastic. Over the next few weeks, a new Spring lookbook will surface on the site and the Marble Blog will feature the key players in our Spring shoot.
