Most of my summers as a kid were spent camping. Most often, it involved tenting beside my Grandparents awesome trailer (which was like a house on wheels, microwave and tv included). Yet, even with luxuries at hand, camping was all about the outdoors. Swimming, beach combing, riding bikes and trolling for campground boys were among my favorite activities.
I would have loved to wear this DSquared sweatshirt back then, just as much as I’d love to wear now.

Bags, bags, bags. I have a serious case of, never to be cured, bags on the brain. I’ve been eyeing this one for a while. And although eyeing doesn’t usually lead to buying, it’s enjoying all the same.

So, I bought this lovely dove grey bowl the other day at a thrift store and just had to put some lemons in it. Pretty right?!

Back in February I posted about my desire to acquire a big gold watch. So, here you have it folks. I managed to stay under $100 with my purchase and given the limited local selection (I think I went to every place that sells watches in my city), I’m pretty pleased with my purchase. The funny thing is, I’m actually enjoying knowing the time…which wasn’t at all why I wanted a big gold watch! So now, I think I might also need a big silver watch for variety! Amazing how things like that happen…

Oh Kate, you’ve come a long way since your Blue Crush days!
I’m loving everything about this look from Kate Bosworth. Seriously though, who isn’t wearing the J Brand Houlihan Cargo’s right now? Well, not I, I have to admit, but if someone wanted to give me a pair that would surely be alright! And hello?! How awesome is her tank? It is totally making me think DIY baby!!

All I can say to J.Crew’s May Catalogue is “Yes Please!” Serving up a big and delicious plate of muted tones and neutrals, if you swing by their site for a browse, you won’t be sorry. I wanted to jump right into the pages showcasing the gorgeous tropical local. Take me to those crystal blue waters!

Don’t you just love stumbling across something wonderful when you weren’t even looking? Last week when I was out running errands, I was meandering through the drug store when I spotted this fabulous nautical tote. You just can’t beat classic navy & white for summertime. And the chunky, rope handles threaded through the large, silver grommets are beyond perfect. At $12, this was a total score. I can’t wait to take this bad boy to the beach and out on the boat. Ahoy Matey!

Marble Boutique has pretty new flower rings which I love. I want to wear one and frolic in a field of sunshine, daisies and summer smells, hee hee.
