Baby’s 1st Birthday Party!
Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the pony. Ha ha. Just kidding. That’s more 2nd Birthday material right? Sure.
A couple weekends ago we celebrated the baby’s first birthday. And while she won’t remember the festivities, I really wanted to take the time to make it a lovely little affair. Turning 1 is a pretty big deal, but more than that, I wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate us as a family. The first year with your first child is an epic journey. Everything is new, everything is a challenge. We’ve all changed so much, grown so much, learned so much.
I’ve always loved to craft, so making a banner, tissue puffs, cupcake toppers and chocolate moustaches, was way too much fun.
Since her baby albums are almost complete, I thought it would be hilarious to cap off the year with some zany photo’s of her family and friends. Hopefully she’ll love looking back on these when she’s older! Our little make-shift ‘photo booth’ was a huge hit and from now on I think it will be a ‘must have’ every time we entertain!
