Outfits of 2011 – The Abridged Version
Last year looking back, I gathered up my ten favourite posts of 2010 (check it out here). Since I blogged a lot more this year, I thought I’d break up my recap of 2011 into sections. Who doesn’t love a little recap-action?! So here you have a smattering of looks from across the seasons. For the most part, I liked what I wore this year. I think I’d stayed true to myself while continuing to evolve my personal style. I’ve taken endless style inspiration from other bloggers and I truly appreciate all the love you guys show me with your comments! xx
Five It’s-Almost-Christmas-Things Friday
Every chance I get, I’m pilling on the sparkle!
A few of my favourite ornaments on my mom’s Christmas Tree. Our tree is a little sparse this year. Decorations on top, plain lights on the bottom, to save breakable ornaments from teeny, very grabby, hands. It’s somewhat like a reverse Christmas Tree mullet. Party on top…
Speaking of ornaments, this is Sparkle the Christmas Light! Did anyone else have one growing up? I always thought he was exceptionally magical.
Two of my favourite wildy festive belts have been vying for my attention this year. Who will take the coveted Christmas Eve spot? Right now it’s a dead heat. Opinions?
There isn’t much left to do now but to slow down and enjoy the next few days with family and friends. I hope that Santa is good to you and that you have a wonderful holiday bursting with LOVE! Smooches!!
Hungry Like a Wolf
Three sleeps left and I’ve turn into a full-on Christmas spaz. I’m excited, I’m hyper, I’m hopped up on sugar. I’m stressed because naturally I’ve left many things to the last minute which now will not be completed. But that’s ok, because I’m excited and hyper and hopped up on sugar. I shake my gifts like a child, and make husband shake his. I don’t make the baby shake hers though because that would quickly translate into shaking every single item in our house. And that could go down hill quickly.
This wolf tee is by far the strangest thing I’ve thrifted in a long time. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a giant silver elephant for my dresser, and while it’s a bit strange, it’s quite shiny, therefore making it at home in the world of things I like. But wolves? That’s a bit of a puzzler.
Have you been drawn to anything wonderfully out of your norm lately?

Baby, It’s Bright Outside!
I left my sunnies at home (oh, the horror!) and I was like squinty-mcsquinterson in all my photos! Ha ha.
Then, I went into a store and upon seeing my lovely red-headed daughter, a kooky sales lady told me that redheads are just angry blonds. Hmmmm.
PS – IT’S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!! ARE YOU EXCITED?? I am, incase you couldn’t tell.

Cozy Up, Cupcake
I think that I’ve achieved maximum coziness with this outfit. Gianormous sweater? Check. Thick socks and boot? Check. Warm elbow length leather gloves? Check. Hot drink? Check. Take note, young Grasshoppers.
How do you achieve maximum coziness??
