SNOW DAY!!!!
The onset of our winter-wonderland is always really fun. We only get snow a couple of times a year and it tends to melt rather quickly. So, when it first happens, people (ok, most people) are excited. Schools shut down, businesses close and roads are deserted.
In the late afternoon we bundled up the babe and embarked on a chilly adventure. These aren’t really outfit pictures. Don’t let your eyes fool you. Yes, I am technically wearing an outfit, but I feel like Joey from that episode of friends where he wears all of Chandler’s clothes. I could probably clothe a small village by distributing my many, many layers.
So, why am I bothering to show you pictures of a non-outfit? Well, for 1. I’m a knitting fool and just finished another cowl I wanted you to see (I’m madly in love with it’s massive chunkiness) and 2. We are parents to a small child. And therefore, never, ever, without a camera. Ever.
And speaking of the small child. While initially less than impressed with our excursion (see photo), after a trip to Starbucks, some toddler fruit snacks, and procuring a strange, small, robotic, Valentines dog that plays this song, a good time was had by all.

The cowl is gorgeous! I’m very impressed. Your daughter is adorable too x
Thanks babes!! xx
Aww you and the babe are so cute!! Her sour expression makes me giggle because I feel the same way when going outside in the cold.
Love the new scarf!!

I know! I’m sour in the cold too. Maybe it’s a girl thing. We’re delicate like flowers :)
Does your little girl have red hair? My youngest is a red head and she is my little spit fire. Your daughter is beautiful, just like her Momma! That’s a lot of snow!! We don’t see that here in Texas! Stay warm! Cheers!

This cold weather brought out the rosy cheeks on Mom and babe! Love the cowl!
I want to live where it snows. I live in AZ so I guess I cannot complain about the wonderful winter weather here. I love the layers and if I lived somewhere cold I think I would always be layering everything. Love the cowl.
I will happily send some snow your way Ruthy! Layer away my friend!
I love your COWL!!! And your daughter is simply gorgeous ( like mom )
Thanks Tia!! xx
Do you have a shop where you sell your cowls? I would love to know how to get my hands on one of those beauties!
Deirdre! You seriously made my day! Perhaps a new career is on the horizon!! You’ll be the first to know if I set up a show! Thanks for the wonderful compliment! xx
